Breakfast with Tiffany’s Mod Cousin

Posted in: The creative touch | 0

Lots of clients ask us where we come up with all of our ideas…and the truth is that like all good things, we experiment to find new shapes, new colour combinations and unique ways of looking at traditional event decor to inspire us!  While we don’t usually share our ‘playtime’, we thought it would be a fun and unique way to share it:

Today’s mini tableau was inspired by the iconic colour scheme in Breakfast at Tiffany’s but we’ve amped up the volume a little with this vignette so we’re calling it Breakfast with Tiffany’s mod cousin!

IMG_1182 Instead of the traditional ‘ladylike’ linen, we’ve amped up the mod factor by replacing it with a wide stripe.  And there is NOTHING our team loves more than mixing and matching patterns to build a look – it always elevates the overall design.

The tall glass goblet centrepiece includes a custom wrap that can be tailored to fit any design and colour scheme. The goblet also has the ability to be lit from within for an added glow to the tables. Black gloss charger plates add a luxurious layer to the table, with a folded napkin and silver patterned napkin rings. Onyx beads add just enough sparkle to make it feel special.

IMG_1181By mixing and matching bolder patterns it really makes that accent blue stand out and be the star of this mini tableau.  And the best part?

All of these items are available through our local rental inventory!  Here are some of the details we’ve used to make up this custom tablescape:

Glass goblet 20” with a custom wrap

White baroque mini frame with chalkboard table number
