A few weeks ago we were invited to design and produce something big – the Northstar Ford Grand Opening celebration.  With just 8 weeks to create a one-of-a-kind gala to be held within the most innovative and technologically advanced building we (and likely many others) had ever seen, it was clear that beyond the fact that every customer convenience and comfort had been anticipated by its visionary owners, this project was going to be something really special.

Guests weren’t just welcomed to a lovely evening to celebrate the official grand opening – Marty and Dennine Giles, true to their iconic dedication to their customers, staff and community were insistent that their celebration be experiential and very personal, welcoming every guests as they made their way past registration and a welcome glass of champagne served in a keepsake logo-etched flute.

Stunning sequins linens, a VIP photo area and lots of incredible edibles were just the beginning for the 300 guests in attendance.  Marty had spearheaded the development of his own grand opening video, produced by Neville Productions, featuring the Northstar Ford staff, a nod to Henry Ford himself and an riveting time lapse of the raising of this incredible building all showcased on a giant 20 ft LED screen centred in the showroom that had guests mesmerized.

Custom passports being handed out by the Northstar Ford staff allowed guests to enjoy a self-guided tour of the building complete with passport stations where guests could get their passport stamped.  All passports with every station’s stamp got entered to win incredible prizes after the tour!

After an exciting draw for prizes, the party was ready to begin.  Ever

dedicated to their customers, Marty & Dennine hosted a live band in the showroom in addition to creating their own club on the lower level with a DJ who kept guests dancing until the end of the evening.
